Take the Bull by the Horns

It's been a while since my last post. That doesn't mean I don't look forward to coming on here to post. A lot has happened since my last post, but that's water under the bridge now. I have a lot to gist you about, but we will take it one topic at a time. Today's post is about facing your challenges with all the stamina you have.

As a kid, I heard the tale of how a scorpion stung a church member and she almost died,. That instilled fear of scorpions in me. I had also heard tales of how people at various places were stung by snakes. At a point in my life, when I was faced with living with snakes and scorpions, I had to face my worst nightmare which was killing them. Initially, I watched people kill them. Afterward, I mastered the art of killing them, as well as many other creepy crawlies.

Despite being born into the hairdressing business, I always had the 'can't do" belief that there was no way I could make a nice hairstyle on anyone. Today, I overcame the fear of making cornrows. I made really nice-looking ones. style: All back, two steps. I feel motivated to try other things I had given up on. What I have learned from today's experience is that sometimes we underestimate our abilities and we give up even before we try what we desire. My words of encouragement to you today are "Don't give up on yourself!"

Procrastination is another limiting factor to taking the bull by the horns. We have a lot of distractions. It could be a movie, social media, or friends. However, we need to start whatever we have to do immediately. The time is now. See you in
my next post.
